Lecture 4/ final project ideas

Hi All,
This wednesday, we will complete our discussion of algebraic geometry codes beating the Gilbert-Varshamov bound. The lecture should only take an hour and will likely end at 15 hr. Please review last week's lecture to be comfortable with the upcoming lecture.
From 15-16 hr, I would like to discuss final project ideas with students individually or in small groups of two or three. There will be lots of such sessions throughout the term. If you/your group would like a time slot this week, please send me an email. It will be a short 10-15 min informal discussion, trying to identify finals topics that might excite you.
