Dear Students,
Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to shift the start of the assignment phase and the topic distribution (we also postponed the submission deadline).
The files for the assignment are now available in the materials section and include (1) a pdf explaining the tasks of the assignment and (2) a LaTeX project that you can use for task 2 of the assignment.
In the pdf file you can also find a short description of five topics. Please send us an email including a clearly ordered list of your preferences (starting with your favourite topic) to seminar-usec-methods@cispa.de by Thursday, June 19th, 2pm.
We will then distribute topics according to your preferences as best as possible.

We will offer two office hours on campus in person, June 27th 13:00 - 15:00 and July 4th 10:00 - 12:00 (rooms TBA). Apart from that, do not hesitate to contact us via mail in case of any questions.

Please ensure that you register for the seminar in LSF and inform us if you experience any difficulties.
We have also uploaded reading materials to the CMS. You are encouraged to review them; however, a detailed knowledge is not required for the next session. The materials serve as an introduction and provide helpful context for the topics we will address.
We are looking forward to the next session on May, 9th!
