Grading Scheme Multiple-Choice Questions

Hello,
the applied grading scheme and the unfortunate wording in the exercise description (of exercise 2.1) lead to a lengthy discussion in the Discord. Hence, we have internally reevaluated the situation and came up with the following decision:
We apologize for the sentence in our exercise description mentioning partial points but we will not give any partial points for multiple choice exercises. The previously mentioned sentence stems from a template and we overlooked it while reviewing the sheet.
Nevertheless, we want to comment on a few things that people complained about via Discord or other means to make sure that no misinformation spreads:
- While questions that could spoil solutions should not be asked in the public discord channels or out loud in the tutorials, we still encourage you to ask these questions in private via Discord PMs or by telling your tutor that you want to ask them something in private during the tutorial
- If you have trouble understanding a task description or it is ambiguous, please also ask these things (also here: ask them in private, if you feel like your questions spoils potential solutions). The same goes for ambiguous answers to multiple-choice questions.
