Hello,

the applied grading scheme and the unfortunate wording in the exercise description (of exercise 2.1) lead to a lengthy discussion in the Discord. Hence, we have internally reevaluated the situation and came up with the following decision:
  We apologize for the sentence in our exercise description mentioning partial points but we will not give any partial points for multiple choice exercises. The previously mentioned sentence stems from a template and we overlooked it while reviewing the sheet.

Nevertheless, we want to comment on a few things that people complained about via Discord or other means to make sure that no misinformation spreads:
- While questions that could spoil solutions should not be asked in the public discord channels or out loud in the tutorials, we still encourage you to ask these questions in private via Discord PMs or by telling your tutor that you want to ask them something in private during the tutorial
- If you have trouble understanding a task description or it is ambiguous, please also ask these things (also here: ask them in private, if you feel like your questions spoils potential solutions). The same goes for ambiguous answers to multiple-choice questions.

you can now see your assigned tutorials on your Personal Status page in the CMS.
Also, you can now register your team for the first exercise sheet in the CMS. Note that due to technical limitations, we require you to register a new team for each exercise sheet even if your partner stays the same.

Hey all,

given the fact that assigning tutorials today is a little short notice, we instead decided to postpone the tutorial assignment for after the registration deadline.
We will still offer tutorials for the first lecture but you are free to choose which tutorial you want to visit for the first exercise sheet.

Hey all,

as the first Tutorial is already tomorrow, you can now state your tutorial preferences [1] on your personal page. We will start assigning tutorials tomorrow morning. Keep in mind that we do not want to force you to visit a specific tutorial slot, thus, if you have a need to visit another tutorial in some week, feel free to do so.
