Dear students,

as some of you have noticed, the grades for the exam are available since the weekend and should be visible by you. I have now also uploaded the example solution. If you would like to request an exam inspection, please register for it here on CMS until tomorrow (Wednesday) night. I will the contact you about the inspection procedure. 
I will enter preliminary grades into LSF soon, and finalize after inspection/the scheduled alternative oral exams. Please contact me if you need a Schein.

Hi all,

For the exam on August 20, several students asked for a session before where they could ask questions regarding to material that came up while preparing for the examination. 

I decided to offer this for 

August 18, at 4.15pm (sharp) in the usual lecture room at CISPA. I also plan to stream via Zoom via the normal link we used before. Attendance is optional, and I will not reveal any questions/hints for the exam or similar.

Hi all,

some of you asked for additional time on ex2. While we can't push back the overall schedule of exercises more because of time until the end of the lecture period, we extended the submission deadline slightly to THU evening now (i.e. in about 33 hours from now) to allow you to do another update if you were almost done.

Please be aware that we already released ex3 sheet and its deadline will remain 2 weeks from now, TUE 23:59 on 3.6.25. We plan to always hand out new exercises either on Monday or Tuesday, and have Deadlines on Tuesday nights 2 weeks later. We updated ex3 instruction sheet with the correct deadlines (i.e. 3.6. at 23:59), no other changes were done to the exercises. We also released points for ex1.

Dear students in CPSS'25,

we will start with the first lecture this Friday 11.4. at 14.15 (sharp). Lecture location is the lecture hall at CISPA (E9.1 on campus, Stuhlsatzenhaus 5). I will generally also livestream to zoom (link in material collection). As this will be the first lecture, I'll introduce the lecture format and planned content for this year, and will also check with you on preferred content from your side. I plan to record lectures in this class and to put them on Youtube afterwards, but please be aware that those recordings are not guaranteed as they may fail due to various technical issues. Please make sure to attend the lecture!

I also activated the askbot extension, please feel free to use it to ask questions that a) could be answered by other students, or b) can be answered by me and might be of interest for other students.
