Exam 1 is graded now, so everyone who participated should see their points and grade in the system. Let me know if there are issues. Please also let me know if you want to have a look at your exam. I will do the exam inspection online - I will scan your exam and send it to you, and we can then discuss it over a call if needed. I am technically on a holiday next week, so the inspections would likely happen either tomorrow or the week starting from August 10th.

Third Exercise Released

We just released the third exercise, this time involving GNUradio. The exercise is worth more than the previous exercises, but also involves some practical effort (and some theoretical questions). I also hope to finish grading the first exercises very soon, sorry about the delay

I published the material for the first exercise, related to SPA from the first lecture. A couple of notes from my side:

- You are allowed to work in groups of 2. Please form groups on your side. If you do not have a group and would like to be in one, please use the askbot to announce this, and form groups with others. You can also still change groups in later exercises.

- I am only giving you ~one week because a) due to delayed start, we otherwise don't have enough time for other content, and b) this first exercise is more about getting you to look into ways to display and analyze signals, and could be solved in around 10 lines of Python code (+ manual interpretation of the figures).

- If you have any questions, please raise them on askbot so that the others can also see them. Don't spoil solutions.

- I did not schedule an online exercise session so far. If you feel there is a need for this, please raise this via askbot and we can organize this.

- Warning: This exercise is building on prior year's exercise, but the solution is not the same. I will check for plagiarism in the submissions.

We will have the first lecture in Physical-Layer Security this Friday from 12:15 to 13:45 via Zoom (details below). I will upload slides tomorrow evening so that you have them locally as well. Please test you local Zoom setup beforehand, as we won't be able to wait for people to solve their client's issues. I will try to record the lecture as well, but as I have little prior experience, there is no guarantee that this will work out. So please try to join the Zoom session!
